Do not trust you will receive a non-defective battery. Search their ratings and you will see they have an abnormally high defective battery percentage and poor customer service to back them up. They do NOTHING to resolve issue other then want YOU to pay MORE money. Do not rely on just my comment, search! You will see!
BTW, I already commented & rated (poorly) about the item I ordered and they removed the comment. They only left my one star company rating because they CAN NOT change that.

BEWARE!!! NEW Battery for HP Pavilion dv2200 dv6000 dv2000 dv6100
When I installed the battery into my HP laptop Dv6000, it would not detect the battery at first. I restarted and it still wouldn't detect it. So I'll be shipping it back and buying one from HP directly.
I purchased my battery the end of May 2009. By Dec. 2009 the battery did not work properly so I returned it for a replacement. The replacement was completely useless (computer turned off immediately when unplugged). Now they want me to pay to return this replacement in order to get another battery. Unfortunately Amazon will do nothing because their money-back guarantee only lasts 90 days even though this battery came with a 1-year warranty. How many will I have to return before I get a working battery? Trying to decide if it's worth another try after reading these other reviews.
This replacement battery for my laptop works just like the original one did when I first purchased my laptop few years ago. I would recommend that as a replacement and if your original battery only lasts about 10-20 minutes without being plugged in to the power cord then you should definitely get this replacement for only fraction of the cost of the original battery.
This battery has a long life when it is working correctly. This is actually the second one we have purchased. The first one suddenly died after about 6 months, so I am hoping that was just a rare happening and that this one stays healthy. The second battery we purchased actually fits a bit loose in the opening but hasn't caused any performance problems yet.
It's a pretty good battery. If you leave your computer on power saver it will last for a long time. Balanced lasts about 45 minutes. Pretty good for a non-new computer.
