I am very happy we purchased these handsets. We had an old Uniden line 1 model that was still working (5+ years old) and we decided to upgrade.
Uniden makes good products. These handsets are tough & I can tell that they are going to survive us dropping them here and there on the concrete ground.
I particularly like that its 2 Lines and its easy to use either one. The back lit display is so easy to see. The handset is light weight and clips securely.
If you have a cell phone you can quickly program these phones... that was very easy.
We have a 2000 + sq ft facility and have not had any issues what so ever with these units coming in. I think they are very crisp and clear when speaking on the phone.

I recently purchased the Uniden DECT4096 base and needed this extra handset. So far, the sound quality, range and battery life all seem very good. I am happy with the purchase and can recommend this device.
I bought several of these to go with the Uniden DECT 6.0 Two-Line Cordless Phone with Digital Answering System and Caller ID (DECT4096 ) I purchased to replace an older Panasonic unit.
The handsets work fine, though I find the rounded edges make picking these up from a table or counter somewhat clumsy.
Audio quality is outstanding. I have a hearing loss, but the volume on these handsets is more than adequate. The LCD display is readable. Battery life is good. I spent two hours on one call a couple of nights ago and the battery held up well. Range is good too. I've used the handset about 75 feet from the base without problem.
Overall, a very nice accessory to the Uniden base unit.

I have been using different single line AT&T cordless phones for 2 phone lines at my home for couple of years and with the increased number of Wi-Fi devices in my home and due to the age of the phone devices the quality of voice deteriorated significantly. I decided to upgrade to a DECT 6.0 2-line phone and what a difference. The voice is very crisp and I don't have to juggle two separate phones. The operation is simple and esthetically phone looks nice. I chose Uniden over other brands due to its price, features and based on other reviews and I am quite happy with the purchase. The original phone comes with only one cordless handset and I had to order the 2nd one for additional convenience. You can not go wrong with this phone.
It worked fine the first day or two, then the speed dial wouldn't work. From there, it got worse, sometimes i couldn't hear, sometimes the person i was talking to couldn't hear, then it got where there was no dial tone. I returned it. - Dect Cordless Phone - 2-line Cordless Phone'
