Screen Protector - screen protector

-The supplied microfiber cloth used to clean the Ipod's LCD screen leaves behind its own deteriorating fabric which leads to bubbles when applied to the Ipod.

-Holes are not lined up perfectly.

-Color distortion when viewed at an angle.

Due to these 3 issues that I observed, I fully regret this purchase. 3-Pack Clear Screen Protectors for Apple iPod Touch 4 (4th Generation)

Pros: Product is good and easy to use. I got this installed on my iTouch within 10 minutes with 2 very small air bubbles. Very reasonable price, unlike other heavily priced protectors. Also, I found the shipping to be very reasonable. Just that if I add more than one to my cart the shipping cost multiplies, which is a bit surprising, given the weight of the product.

Cons: Like other reviewers have mentioned, this will give a rainbow effect. But the effect is noticeable only when the iTouch is in sleep mode (black screen) and is not visible while the device is in use. I just hope This will not leave any chemical effect on the screen.

Suggestion to users: While applying the protector, I peeled off the stickers and then bent the protector a bit and first aligned the holes of the protector to the center of iTouch (the start button and the front camera). This way, if you miss a bit, you can easily take it off and re-align. Once you have the right alignment, you can continue to stick this towards the sideways. Use the cloth they have provided to wipe and avoid the air bubbles. Hope this helps.

Suggestion to the seller: Please mention "do not bend" in the shipping package. Sometimes the mail man tries to squeeze the items into mailbox and the product may get damaged.

Overall, recommended product and the 4 stars is only due to the rainbow effect.

I am otherwise happy with the product, but it's size do not match perfectly with the iPod Touch screen. It is about 1mm smaller on all size, leaving a small gap which looked a bit ugly. For this price won't complain much, but I know I will need to get another one.

The shields are heavy-duty, but hard to apply. The finished product winds up w/ air bubbles under the screen. When the shield is used on an iPod w/ a rubber protector case, it gets lifted at the corners of the screen, creating more air bubbles. :-(

This item is cheap obviously but its worth the price, it does not cover the screen completely but it covers like 99% of it (around. With a cover, the screen parts not covered wont be noticeable, and I had alot of bubbles on the screen but i see that it was cuss i did not clean the screen completely, so if you have bubbles, dont blame the screen protector. SF Planet *thumbs up*

These are great screen protectors. I put them on from bottom to top and smoothed it with a credit card as I applied it to get rid of bubbles as they appeared. Of course, there are a couple of bubbles, but not that many. I only had to use one and it's working well so far (Keep in mind, I've only had it for less than a week).

The price is great, and they work well and are very clear for my new iPod. I'd definitely recommend these.

The home button and the front camera holes are not lined perfectly. Try to line them both up and one of them will be out of position by a little. Moreover, the protector is like 1 mm too small, so the edge will be unprotected by 1 mm.

The protector is also not as smooth as the glass screen. Sometime I feel like my finger gets stick on the screen.

Let me start off by saying, I saw the low reviews after I purchased the item. I was worried it was going to suck, as these lower rated ones didnt start pouring in until after it was already coming in the mail.

After receiving the screen protectors, I tried them out. The cloth for cleaning the screen is very nice, which is a little plus considering the cheap price of the protectors.

The bubbles are a genuine problem, just like all the reviews state. They are annoying and as far as I'm aware, there's no way to completely get rid of all of them. I managed to clear them off the screen, but there are small ones hovering all around the bottom and a few at the top. To be fair, some of the bubbles seem to fix themselves after a time, but this shouldn't be such a big problem in the first place.

There really isn't much more to say about the screen protectors. I'm leaving mine on as I would hate to see even a nick on my iPod Touch, and the bubbles are worth the price if it does keep the screen safe- which it seems to do well.

One final thing I would like to point out, I don't see the "oil spill" or "rainbow effect" everyone else does when my iPod is on or off. It looks normal. I would assume the other reviewers received bad screen protectors, which makes me even more hesitant to recommend this to anybody.

Overall, the screen protector is a rather cheap item that seems to work fine- but you have to put in a fair amount of work to get the bubbles off the screen. I doubt there is a way to get them out entirely. And if you have to re-apply the protector, be aware you will probably attract dust or other pieces of junk floating in the air, none of which will be visible until you re-apply it to the screen.

For two dollars, you get three protectors and three decent cleaning cloths included. If you REALLY want to find a low priced protector, this might be the "best" choice. Just keep in mind you'll have to work at clearing the bubbles to get a decent view on the screen, and that you may possibly end up with a bad set of screen protectors. - Screen Protector'
