Undercabinet Tv - drop down tv, under counter tv

Good under the cabinet TV DVD/CD player for the price. East to install, easy setup. Wall plug is very large and looks kind of out place in kitchen. CD tray is kind of flimsy but works fine. All in all not a bad setup for under $140.00. Coby KTFDVD7093SVR 7-Inch Under-the-Cabinet DVD/CD Player

We bought this to replace an under-the-counter TV (different brand) that was starting to wear out. For whatever strange reason, the Colby wouldn't get cable channels 16-20 and would sometimes mute the sound for no reason. We didn't like that the screen didn't lock in the stow position, so the screen would partially hang down when we didn't want it to. You also couldn't pre-program channels, which our present TV does. Another issue when installing the TV is that you can't adjust the distance it hangs to the bottom of the cabinet. Depending on the depth your cabinets, you might not be able to have the DVD door open without hitting the cabinet's trim. Overall, you get what you pay for in a Colby, so I would look for a higher quality brand. Needless to say, we returned the Colby.

I ordered two of these units but both had a manufacturer defect that the menu for programing the TV was missing so both units had to be sent back. It is too bad because it is a nice size and the two stations that I did get the picture was great and radio had a nice sound also. But wanted more than the home shopping network so it had to go back/

I had purchased one of these units on the internet, but when I went to mount it, one of the screws damaged the electronics inside. They supply two sets of screws to mount the unit under the counter, but I guess they must think everyone uses a minimum 2" thick counter. If you go to screw one of the back screws in without using spacers, it'll drive itself into the circuit board inside. It is odd that they don't include a warning about this. At any rate I purchased another unit through Amazon.. This unit was shipped with the dvd door partially open. I managed to manually close it, but I've noticed the display lights dim, and lock up if I try to use the buttons on the unit. Unfortunately, I'm from Canada, and the cost to ship to Florida for repair -- or even return to Amazon is about half the cost of what the unit is worth. ...Next time, I'll stick to paying a few more bucks, and get a reliable player.

Have only used for 3 weeks. Installation was easy and the TV works as described. Great picture, good sound, plenty of volume available, TV, DVD and radio all work great. Remote works great too. The only minor annoyance is that the sound volume increases a little too much from setting 2 to 3. I can live with that.

Perfect fit, great picture, nice sound. Take your time and read the directions for set up and you'll have no problems. No spacers included (I used washers). Accepts both coaxial and RCA cables. Nice reception on the radio. Went with the 7 inch screen so I didn't have to rearrange my countertop appliances and it is large enough and sharp enough to be seen from all distances. As it is installed in the kitchen, I did purchase the 2 year all inclusive warranty just to be safe. It is EXACTLY what I was looking for. All in all, I could not be happier!

I read some of the reviews about this product before buying it and would reiterate some of the comments I originally read. Overall, I am happy with installation, it was not overly difficult except for being carefull with the mounting screws length into the radio. The swing down screen does seem a little flimsy but has worked well. The image is great head on but not so great at certain angles. The original setup was smooth with the tuner finding all the channels. One item I didn't like is how the presets are set for the radio channels. And the biggest pet peave is the volume control. Two is too low and three is too loud! But, again, I am happy with the product and price. - Under Cabinet Tv - Under Counter Tv - Drop Down Tv - Coby'
