Iphone Lcd Replacement 3g

This was a good buy. If my iPod ever fails, I have a fine repair kit now. But my real reason for purchasing was to work on replacing my 1.8" drive in my netbook. This kit is good for prying and holding open those plastic snap-together/pry-apart delicate areas. Obviously I recommended this (and the kit costs less than piecing together guitar pics, mini screwdrivers and a plastic pry bar, if you can even find something like it!). iPhone 2G 3G 7 in 1 tool set

Bought it but i did not use it much the guitar looking thing were to fragile the plastic on them bent and the blue ones i felt like if i was going to break them if i put to much pressure on them would not buy again.

I was not able to get my IPOD open without breaking the blue tools. They were easily mangled to an unusable state with little pressure. The screw drivers are nice and decent quality unlike the rest of the kit so I suppose it is not a total loss.

These tools are useless. The blue pry tools snap well before you ever get the iPod open. I broke both of them without putting much pressure on them at all. The screwdrivers leave gouges in the case.

Go with the authentic Apple Nylon tool if you hope to open an iPod. The guitar pics are still useful. They hold the case open while you work the rest of the way around with the pry tool.

I'm unable to remove the two screws using the mini screw driver provided. It is quite annoying that the screwdriver does not fit properly into the screw. I haven't needed to use the rest of the tools because I can't get the iphone to open!

It did passingly on my iPhone, but it wore down to unusable on the first use and left some quite large openings since it wore to the point where I had to use the thicker, less delicate, parts of the tools.

The screw drivers, however, are well worth the price of the entire kit.'
