Htc Inspire Case - htc inspire 4g

Bought the phone. Couldn't find a pouch case ANYWHERE that fit, as the Inspire is wider than most of its peers. This pouch even fits with a skin case on the phone. Wow. Great price. Great service from the seller, too. Premium Executive Black Vertical Leather Carrying Pouch Case for HTC Inspire 4G (Free Gift)

This product fits the phone like a glove. Leather seems sturdy, durable and of good quality. It protects the phone well as I don't have a cover over the phone. It has a magnet that keeps the cover in place which also seems to work well. Hopefully, that will last. It has a clip that stays in place on all garments.

This product is well worth the price if your goal is protection and quality.

Just received this via U.S.P.S and for once they were pretty darn fast with delivery. Open the package, a white bubble pack mailer envelope and found a very nice case. Surprised it had a magnetic invisible catch. Clip looks very well attached and strong. Phone fits in snuggly and I'm fairly certain it will loosen up with use. Still need to apply 'skins and hope it all slides together smoothly. I'll try and write an addendum to this after using it. For the price it's a sure thing.

Although I have a sleeve on my phone I wanted to have a way to carry it without having to have my purse with me, especially when exercising. The case is light and easy to access and also fits very well.

I received the case as promised. It works as promised. I feel the clip is very strong and should do well during my usage of the product.

I enjoy the magnetic lock as opposed to other snap type closures. Many reviews have stated that the case is not leather. I'm not an expert. It may not be leather, but it appears to be durable, which is all I really wanted!

This is a nice product. It is very attractive and would be very at home with the white collar guys (suits). A little too nice for rough folks like me, not for the bluejeans and T-shirt crowd. Although it would serve to protect your phone very well anyway. IMHO

Could not be any happier with this purchase!

Excellent case, fits husband's 4G HTC Inspire, and almost every day he tells me he LOVES this case! Very sturdy, high quality, Leather, and UNBELIEVABLE price! We searched through several stores - Sams, Walmart's, Best Buy, and online looking for a case to fit husband's Inspire 4G and nothing would fit. So glad we found this on Amazon.

Also, we ordered the OTTER protective case for his Inspire through their website - (they're in stock now, so get these while you can!)

We fully expect the phone to fit (with the thick protective case) as the leather pouch has an expandable side. I will post a follow-up as soon as the Otter case arrives to let you know.

I like wearing my phone on my belt so it is accessible.

The HTC Inspire is a big phone, but this leather holder carries it well. Clip slides over the belt and holds securely.

Appears to be well constructed. Is holding up well so far. - Htc Inspire 4g'

Portable Dvd Case - portable dvd case, dvd player carrying case

I just received this case and I am happy with the quality and it is as I expected it to be in that regard. I went with this one becasue you don't have to have it open like a tray table on the back of the seat, you can flip the top up and over and it lays flat against the seat, the other cases don't seem to do this.

My hope was that when I got it I could easily strap it to just one seat as opposed to between the two seats as the product is intended. I didn't want to have the dvd player in between the seats because I still need to reach the children durning long rides and this I feel would impede my ability to do that, besides I feel it is more comfortable to look at the dvd player right in front of you anyway. You can easily attach it to just the one seat although the velcro flap you need to need to wrap around the top anchor strap is a little bit of a pain to get in if you mount it in this fashion. I plan to get another case just for transporting the dvd players and I intend to keep these cases in the car all the time as it will be to much of a hassle to take the cases in and out of the car each time and far easier to remove the player and put it in another seperate case especially since I have two, one for each child. The main thing I like is the ability to fold the dvd player flat in the case so it will stay flush against the back of the seat and hopefully not get kicked as easily by the children when they are watching. So, so far so good hopefully it will work out well in the long run. But for those of you who like the look of this case and but didn't want a between the seats mounting, it can be mounted on the back of one seat easliy. Case Logic PDVK-10 7 to 10-Inch In-Car Portable DVD Player Case (Black)

I bought this for my mini van to use it with my Sony 8 inch DVD player. It fits the player nicely. There are two earphone jacks on the bottom for easy access. Great for storing your car charger and discs and there is enough room for even the ear phones.

Here is how it works: Basically you suspend a strap between the two head rests and attach the case with a velcro that loops over the strap. Simple and a little bit primitive. I have a Windstar with headrests that are just an extention of the seat and don't rest on a metal bar. It probably works better if you have the adjustable headrests in your car.

The good news is that you can just remove the case from the strap and leave the strap when you want to take it out of the car.

The player is attached to the case with one skimpy little strap as well. So far it has been holding out but I wish it looked a little bit more sturdy.

I purchased this case to go with our Sony DVP-FX930/W 9-Inch Portable DVD Player, both from this site. I am pretty happy with is so far. It fits nicely on the back of my seat, but I have a 2007 Corolla and when we tried to put it in the middle of the two seats, it was way too close to my son. He could have kicked it or played with it in that location (we place his carseat in the middle so that he can see out). So, we settled for placing it on the back of the passenger seat, and that worked out well. My only real complaint is that it was hard to open the dvd player to change the DVD without the compartment door, catching on the case. It wasn't a big deal, because I would just hold back the sides of the case when I went to change a DVD, but I still wanted to mention it. Overall, this was a good purchase and I would recommend it.

I recently purchased a Sony DVP-FX820 8 inch portable DVD Player and needed case for my van. The case works great just as advertised. It holds all of the cords and a couple of movies. I would buy it again.

Bought this for watching a Sony DVP-FX930/R 9-Inch Portable DVD Player, Red in the second row of our Honda Pilot.

The player fit nicely inside, though previous reviewers are correct - the design of the "security" strap probably doesn't work as well with this particular player as it does with others, since the strap does slip down in the crack between the swivel screen and the player body. But we found it was sufficiently stable if we 'snugged' the strap up as high as possible within the lower slots in the bag, and made sure it was tight.

Our kids never complained about it swaying back and forth, because we tightened the floor-mount straps and the suspension strap upon every install.

And the Grab 'n Go feature is a bit misleading. Sure, you just have to open the velcro strap at the top, disconnect the two floor straps, disconnect the headphones and DC adaptor cable, close the velcro strap, zip up the bag, and THEN go... And the hooks on the floor straps are unusually hard to open, so that slows things down, too.

One more thing: There's a decent amount of storage space in the bag, but don't plan on carrying more than 2 or 3 full-size DVD snapcases. We opted for a 'disc-only' wallet that housed 24 individual DVD's - and fit nicely into the bag, STILL with room for the cables and remote control.

So, did it work? Yes. Was it secure? Yes. Was it as easy as advertised? Not exactly... but I'd buy it again. - Portable Dvd Case - Dvd Holders - Portable Dvd Player Car Case - Dvd Player Carrying Case'

School Supplies - nori, lunch

This nifty hole puncher certainly gets the job done at our house and childcare! I use it frequently to hang up the kids' art (punches construction paper effortlessly), create lacing projects for them (through thick, 5-7mm lamination), and let the kids punch holes in paper. If it's held up to my constant use AND that of the kids, you know it's durable. The grips are comfy (and have never fallen off), it punches through a few pieces of paper smoothly, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE that it catches the punches instead of dropping them all over my floor (I then save those for the kids to use wherever their artisitc creativity takes them). The puncher doesn't get stuck like many others I have used. The price was ever-so-slightly higher than what I wanted to pay, but it's ergonomic handles are infintely better than the basic metal punchers I'm used to. Fiskars 12-23518897 Hand Punch, 1/8-Inch, Circle

I use it to punch cardstock... worked great for the first few months of heavy use, then the cushioned handles fell off and now it doesn't punch cleanly. It was the second one I'd bought. The first one broke in half after about 3 months. I'll probably buy it again because I don't see any better options, but I recommend not duct taping the cushions when they inevitably fall off. What a mess that became!

This hole punch does exactly what it is advertised to do - punch holes. It's a 1/8 inch hole punch, which is half the diameter of normal hole punches. Make sure that you mean to get the smaller size!

Also, the grips on this are NOT latex, so anyone with an allergy should be OK using the punch.

I wanted an 1/8" punch for attaching labels to thin cable ties. This punch is sturdy, punches cleanly, has cushioned handles, and a device to catch the punched out paper circle for later disposal.

I did a side by side comparison with my 1/4" hand-held punch, made many years ago in Chicago. They seem of comparable quality, except for the conveniences of cushioned handles and paper catcher.

It's sturdy, metal, and it has a cushioned grip. Perfect for those after-school hole punching sessions.

Even after 2 hours of hole punching you still aren't getting "puncher's cramp".

Highly recommend.

I use my hole punchers to make handmade baby blankets for newborns from flannel pieces sewn together with a blanket stitch and then crocheted around the edges with coordinating cotton yarn. The hole puncher saves so much time and gives a professional finish. I would like to have a 1/16 inch puncher as well for finer yarn.

Thank you for a fine product. - Hole Punch - Lunch - Japanese - Nori'

Speaker Cables

I just bought a Definitive Technology Mythos SSA-50 Speaker for my LCD and needed 5 identical length speaker cables to feed it. The sequential foot markings on this 50's spool were perfect for the job. It made it so easy to measure and cut. Plus the printing on the cables is very easy to see so I had no problem keeping the phase correct on all cables.

I also purchased their 3' HDMI cables and they were great. But, to top it all off, I just received a personal email from the company making sure I'm happy with their products and giving me a name and phone to call if I needed help with anything. That's customer support!

I'm a fan and highly recommend Mediabridge products. Price is right, quality is superb and support is there before you need it.

-a- Mediabridge - 16 Gauge Speaker Wire [w/ Sequential Foot Markings] - (50 Feet)

High quality, low price... what more could you ask for? Easy to work with, just flexible enough to work with, easy foot markings... delivers great quality sound. Highly recommend Mediabridge products!

...for saving me some serious cash! 100% happy with this and all the Mediabridge products I have purchased so far! This speaker wire, several HDMI cables in varying lengths, digital optical cables, etc. Everything has worked the same as cables I have that cost me 10 to 15 times more!

My son was impressed with this speaker wire & thought I must have paid way too much for it. He doesn't know about Amazon or MediaBridge! This is my 3rd item from MediaBridge & definitely pleased! They followed up with an email suggesting I give them a call if I had any questions or needed assistance. That is a rare thing these days!! Buy with confidence!

This it true 16 gauge 100% pure copper wire with sequential foot markings. Received full 50 ft as promised and the price is the best right now. Recommended for anyone needing 16 gauge wire for any speaker install.

I used this speaker wire to wire my surround sound. I have polk audio speakers and an 0nkyo 607 receiver. The speakers sound crystal clear and the quality of the cable are similiar or better than the cables you'd spend triple the price on. I would suggest using these cables as they are great.

I don't write reviews often, but this damn speaker wire mad me mangry (man angry), so, here I am. Copper is the ideal metal for speaker wire. This speaker wire is aluminum(weak metal), but is painted or coated with copper. At first glance it looks like good speaker wire, but once you use it, you'll find it to be very weak. The strands of wire will break easy while twisting it. If you want good affordable speaker wire, go to monoprice.com.'

Athletic Socks - athletic socks, hanes

After reading the reviews of the various low-cut white socks available on Amazon, I decided to try these Hanes, as it appeared that they were the best of a bad lot. They're not really terrible or anything, but they are thin and flimsy (and they look it, so you're not going to win any style points in them). They also tend to make my feet get hot, particularly under my heels. I don't know if this is because they're so thin that they don't insulate my skin from the shoe or because there's something excessively plastic about the fabric. As for the size, they seem to run a bit big: I wear a size 10 men's shoe, but these socks bulge out at the heel around my Achilles tendon--not a good look. Hanes Men's 6 pack cushion low cut sock, White, 6-12

These are of a terrible quality. They are thin and the only "cushion" in these socks comes from the imaginations of the folks who write the description of this product. The size range is impossible...no sock can fit from a 6 to 12 size foot and this sock proves that statement. This is the least of the three low cut socks I have ordered in the past three weeks or so. Choose any sock other than these, or perhaps not any from Hanes.

I have a size 9.5-10 shoe and I commonly wear socks that say size 9-11. These say size 6-12. When I got them and put them on, they were so big that the grey area where the heal is supposed to be is up at my ankle. That is not right.

Washing/drying them did not change the size to yield an improvement

If someone is actually a size 6-9, these things are going to go up way high.

The only good thing is that the socks are very thin, which is what I wanted for a hot climate.

Still the sizing is not honest and so this product should be avoided unless you are genuinely size 11-12

Highly recommended!

I really like these socks. Great price. Comfortable! I have tried some "cheap" ones and they never seem to fit right around the toes -- there's part that sticks out at the sides -- and rubs against the shoe. These don't do that. They fit great.

These socks are way too large for my 9.5 - 10 feet. If I pull them all the way up, they seem like crew socks but with the gray heel patch right above my ankle. I washed them twice but they don't seem to shrink at all. That said, they are not uncomfortable to wear but the fabric feels a bit coarse compared to other socks I own.

This is the first time i have bought a Hanes product and i am disappointed at the quailty of the socks. They do not stay firmly on the foot and move around a lot during exercise leading to blisters. I will be happy to spend a few dollars extra in future.

These are functional, adequately comfy, affordable socks. They aren't that thick though, so they aren't as comfy as other brands and they won't last as long -- but that's what you get for the price. If you want more comfy socks, you'd have to pay around twice as more. For them, they do the job, and if I need thicker socks (e.g., for running), I use my socks of a different brand. - Hanes - Ankle Socks - Athletic Socks'

Sex Change - adventure, family

This seems to be a real love it or hate it movie. To everyone who hasn't weighed in, let me give you a few words of advice. If you're looking for a deep plot, a profound message, or award-winning characterization--don't bother because it's not here. However, if you're looking for a silly, shiny popcorn flick that you can spend a little time laughing at and you're willing to let go of any lurking high standards enough to enjoy it, then you're in the right place. Also, as I believe other reviewers have mentioned, this is a kid-targeted and kid-friendly film. Zoom: Academy for Superheroes

No, this won't win any academy awards. Yes, the special effects like the 6-year-old lifting 2-ton weights are a bit cheesy and you can tell they are made out of plastic. But this movie targets pre-teen kids and isn't supposed to be highly sophisticated. Show it to some kids between the ages of 5 and 13 and see what they think - that's the demographic here. My guess? They'll love it. And if your kids are teens but haven't hit that "everything is stupid" stage, they'll probably like it too.

THE PLOT:

Tim Allen plays a grown-up and burned-out superhero named Zoom who can run real fast (think of "Dash" in the animated movie "The Incredibles"). As a child, Zoom was taken to a special academy (Area 52 in Nevada...more secret than Area 51) where he, his brother, and other kids with superhero powers are supposed to develop themselves. While there, the government irradiates the kids to enhance their powers, something goes wrong, and Zoom's brother (Concussion) turns into an evil arch-nemesis where he is stuck in some kind of time warp. Fast-forward 30 years. Concussion is coming out of his time-warp to wreak havoc. The army is preparing for his return and has recruited a batch of new superhero kids to battle him, and they've forcibly enlisted Allen (Zoom) to train the kids. He's burned out and bitter about the same army that wrecked his life and his brother's life. The movie charts his redemption as he slowly forms the new kids into a team that treats one another like a family, helping Zoom find his calling once again.

My pre-teen son picked this off the Blockbuster shelf because he'd seen a commercial for it. I figured, what the heck, it's rated PG, let's take a chance on it. So, we sat down that night with people from each of three generations: me (I'm 45), my son (he's 11), and his grandmother (she's 69). We all enjoyed it.

THE GOOD:

1) Wholesome message - The kids feel like outcasts because of their powers and gradually learn to support one another. There isn't the usual petty bickering like amongst siblings. They get along and take care of one another.

2) Redemption - Zoom goes from a burned-out cynic to a genuinely caring father figure and role model by the end of the movie. He redeems his long-lost brother (Concussion) as well.

3) Language - There's none of the usual potty mouth jokes and innuendoes. This is a big deal for me. I love many of the newer animated movies, like Shrek, but it as though the producers want to be certain that the adults watching the movie have humor directed at them, so they push the envelope with jokes they hope will go over the kids' heads but hit the adults. Newsflash: if I want adult humor, I'll rent it. The Incredibles was a great example of a movie that appealed to all ages without having to push the envelope. Zoom was another great example.

4) Normal Kids - It didn't feature "perfect" kids as one had a speech impediment, one was overweight, and one was moody and picked on by the cool kids at school. It was nice to see "regular" kids cast in this movie instead of just the popular, beautiful images of perfect hair, perfect teeth, and popularity that the Disney Channel usually gives us with kids like Jamie Lynn Spears and Hillary Duff.

THE BAD:

There really wasn't anything I didn't like about the movie, but we happened to watch it while we were eating pizza and there are a few places where it gets a bit gross: one involving flatulance and one involving mucous. Consider yourself warned - it doesn't mix well with food.

THE UGLY:

Uh, none to speak of. Tim Allen seems a bit obsessed with Courtney Cox's little green dress. No ugliness there, I can assure you.

THE ACTORS:

In addition to Allen, there are some other actors that adults will enjoy here. Courtney Cox (Friends) plays a dweeby and ultra-clumsy scientist who has a crush on Zoom. Chevy Chase of Saturday Night Live fame plays the aging nobel-prize-winning director of Area 52. His makeup is hysterical and he dresses in fashions from the 1970s. Rip Torn plays the gruff army general who views the kids as collateral weapons to be used, not human beings of value. Allen is like a one-man arsenal of funny one-liners and quips and is constantly peppering Torn's and Chase's characters with ascerbic wit. He's a quintessential Smart Alec in this movie.

THE BOTTOM LINE:

But all in all, it was a truly fun movie. Kids will like the special effects and the comic-book plot and won't see the cheesy-ness: they'll think it is cool - the top-secret installation, the superhero costumes, the training, and the unique superpowers each person has. Adults will like the wholesomeness of the message and the absence of violence and language.

Buy it? I dunno. We rented it. My suggestion: rent it first and if you like it, get it for your library. It's the type of movie kids will want to watch several times, while adults will probably find that once is sufficient. - Superhero - Family - Tim Allen - Adventure'

Hair Straightener

I had been researching hair straightners for the last month or so and I must say I was impressed with this product! I received it in the mail today and just finished using it because I wanted to make sure it worked! I was a little skeptical at first when I got it out of the box and picked it up b/c it was very light weight but it really does the job! I have had another hair straightner that was 2 inches by Remington and I must say it didn't heat up near as quick as this one did. If your like me, I have really thick, natural curly hair and sometimes it takes me 3-4 times to get my hair straight which can be frustrating and very time consuming. This little gadget only took me a total of 5 minutes to straighten my whole head with shoulder length hair. :) It doesn't pull your hair like some of the other ones do and its easy to press together which is advantage for me b/c I suffer with severe arthritis. The temperature settings come as if you were setting the oven to cook something, 325, 330 degrees and so on, so be careful when you pick it up because it does get very hot as soon as you turn it on, it's also small enough that you can take it with you if you are a person that does lots of traveling. Also, this makes your hair really soft and a little shiny and I have well water and I'm always looking for products that will soften my hair. So, if you are reading these reviews all of them hold true about the product and I'm a very picky/particular person when it comes to buying things, especially online! Hope this helps for those of you looking for a good hair staightner. :)Remington S5500 Digital Anti Static 1 Inch Ceramic Hair Straightener

So I have been looking for over 2 years for a straightner that compared to the CHI in quality but not price! And this is it! Gets hot very quickly, only have to go over my hair once and it is straight as a board. I have tried so many other brands and nothing works like the Remmington. I go to bed with my hair wet, get up the next morning its super wavy and frizzy and after 5 minutes my hair is straight. I would buy this product time and time again!

My own thinning white chevelure does not provide the ideal test-bed for this new product. However my journalist daughter Lucy Bryson has beautiful golden tresses, and she has kindly agreed to do the testing and let us know. It sounds pretty good to me, but Here's Lucy (between quote marks)

`These straighteners are a fantastic product for the price. Slim and compact, they heat up extremely quickly, making them a good buy for anyone who, like me, tends to do everything in a bit of a last-minute rush.

The straighteners have quite a few nifty features, not least of which is the fact that you can control the heat setting very easily. There is a digital temperature display, and you can boost or reduce the heat depending on your preferences. It's advisable to use a hair protection product even at the lower temperatures, though.

Another handy extra is the heat-proof pouch which comes with the straighteners, so you can store them straight away without worrying about burning or melting any surfaces or bags.

My one gripe is that the lock and unlock feature on the straighteners is a little fiddly to use at first, but I did get used to it after a few days' use.'

Sounds all right to me.

I just bought this straightener and I highly recommend it! I have curly/wavy hair and it makes my hair straight no waves. You can also curl your hair with it! It was a good bargain for a good straightener! You can't go wrong with this straightener I can assure you!

I've had other straightening irons before but this one is by far the best for the price. Don't take that to mean if you buy a $150 GHD or CHI that you're getting better performance. Quite the contrary, this straightener works just as well as the GHD styler used by my hair dresser. It heats up quickly and works even quicker. My hair is very thick and very wavy and I only had to run this through my hair maybe twice and the second time was to get the stragglies in my hair that refuse to be straightened even by an industrial dry cleaning press. I couldn't recommended this more. My roommate also loves it and doesn't use her Rusk straightener anymore!

before I have selected this product, I have read the reviews of all other similar products and couldn't decide which one to buy. I was considering convenience, safety, easy usage, good results and price. It was hard to decide. This product was not being reviewed as much as other brands but I decided to give it a try. I am very happy now to choose this one. It is light in weight, the ceramic portions are wide enough to hold large hair sections, makes the hair straightened very fast and I found it safe to use. I have a wavy hair and had no trouble making it straight. If you have a very thick and curly hair, you may need to do it couple of times but I think it is going to work and you will like it.

My husband generally not recognizes small changes on me but as soon as he saw me after I have straightened my hair, he has commented on that. He liked it very much.

The color of the straightener is also really nice and the price is super. no need to give lots of money to other products. I think you will love this one.'

Wrist Weights

Purchased these Reebok 2 lb Wrist Weights for my wife to replace her nearly 8 year old Nike 1 lb wrist weights. She loves them! the wrist weights are just a tad longer than the Nike wrist weights (thus it will fit people with bigger wrists), the construction looks similar to the Nike (appears very sturdy and should last just as long). As others have pointed out the actual color is lime green not purple as shown in the main picture (however, my wife loves the lime green trim with black color). Cost of these wrist weights are almost 50% less than a Nike wrist weights from Nike's web site! My wife loves them so much her walking partner has asked me to order her a set from Amazon as well. Reebok Thumblock Wrist Weight (4-Pound Set)

I'm really good at complaining about the lack of tone in my arms and horrible about working out, so I decided to get these wrist weights as a motivator to "accidentally" exercise. I wear them around the house for about an hour a day, and after one week of wearing them while doing regular household tasks (cleaning, cooking, etc) I'm already seeing a difference! The fabric is soft & non itchy, putting them on & taking them of is super easy, and they're cute enough to go check the mail or mow the lawn in without feeling like a dope if your neighbors see you. The design reminds me of early 90's rave-wear, and part of me wishes I would've had them then, because my arms would be rock hard now. I love them so much I've already ordered a backup pair for myself and a pair for my best friend. Thanks Reebok!

These are exactly what i thought they'd be. The thumb hole keeps the weights in place and the slim design keeps them tight on small wrists.... great for revving up any cardio workout. Although the material isn't necessarily "sweat wicking" i haven't noticed any smell and after hundreds of uses the velcro still holds strong and the material looks brand new.

I was excited to try these wrist weights because of the thumb-holds, and because it looked like they were designed for women. (They show a woman on the packaging, so that's likely the case.) Granted, I have relatively small wrists, but these weights were absolutely enormous on me. I cannot imagine how these would fit most women's wrists comfortably. Even with the velcro pulled as tightly as possible (to the point were only small pieces of the velcro were pressed together), they still slipped all over the place. So disappointed!

I wear these wrist weights during my Zumba class to really work my biceps, and they do their job very well. Unlike some other types that only wrap around my wrists, these have thumb holes that allow them to stay in one place without sliding all over as I move my arms up and down and all around. Not too bulky either, and neoprene cover work well with sweaty skin. For the price, these can't be beat!

Looks like they've put the correct photo of the lime green/black weights since I last read these reviews. The "wrist" weights I tried on at Walmart slipped right off my wrist. These fit my small-boned wrists with only the last inch of velcro (out of the 2 1/2 inch long block) holding it sufficiently to my wrists. Comfortable, soft material with a little stretch. I do wonder if they stretch a little if they will be too big for the velcro to catch, no longer enabling them to stay on my wrists. The thumb lock starts to hurt after several minutes of wear, but you don't have to use the thumb locks. Definitely can feel they're working. Surprisingly, they are quite fat on your wrists. For example, I had to remove them to type this. I think this is about as good as you're going to find as far as wrist weights. I saw these at Target, BTW.

I purchased these wrist weights less than a month ago. I used them primarily to make the boxing workout on Wii Fit Plus a little more intense. I thought they would stay in place well because of the thumb hole, but the velcro came undone maybe a half dozen times as I was punching. I could live with that because they stayed on most the time, but a few days ago one of them burst open as I was punching and little beads sprayed everywhere.

Maybe it's not meant to be used that way? Maybe punching is more than it was designed to handle? But I certainly wasn't going crazy with my punches and I would have imagined any well designed wrist weight would have been up to the task. I was quite disappointed.

Every time I go on a walk or am doing chores around the house, I wear these. It's an easy way to get in a little extra arm workout without having to go out of your way to lift weights. What sets these wrist weights apart from others is that you still have the use of your hands, which is nice.

Now, wearing these and not doing any additional weight training is NOT going to turn your arms from flab to fab in a week. But it will offer a little extra resistance to daily activities which adds up.

Four stars because my mother tried them out and they were too big on her. She also mentioned the thumb piece rubbed uncomfortably.

I've been using this product for about two months now. The obvious advantage is that adding extra weight to your arms increases the exercise intensity and calorie burn. I wear these when I run and it has helped me build speed and endurance.

While I like this product a lot and use it daily, it runs way too large for most womens' wrists. It helps to wear terry cloth tennis bands around both wrists and then put the weights on. Otherwise, the weights shift around quite a bit.

Overall, I am satisfied with the product. If you're looking to turn a casual exercise into a more rigorous one, I recommend getting these.'

Electric Razor - beard trimmer, trimmer

I was very unsure about which of these trimmers to buy, but I'm glad I went with this one. It's very easy to use and it's nice to not have to worry about attachments to change out and keep up with. All you have to do is simply twist the dial and you can cut your hair to have the 5 o'clock shadow, turn the dial and trim your goatee/side burns, or change it to one of the higher settings and actually cut your hair.. It's truly an all in one device. This replace my Mach 3 Fusion razor and my hair clippers. All for this amazing price. I've had it for a little over 2 weeks now and i use it every few days, it's still on it's first charge. The good thing about it is that you can simply plug the adapter into the wall and use it while it's charging if you need to.

The only issue i have against it would be the fact that it does kind of throw hair, but that's just because it cuts so fast. The only time it has done this bad was the first time i used it and my facial hair was a little thick, I was waiting to see how well it would perform. But if you keep everything cut every 2 or 3 days it's not that bad at throwing hair..

I Fully Recommend this..

I was first anxious if this will deliver on its promise of Stubble length uniform cutting. But it does a very good job. The lowest setting gives me a very close stubble. And by removing the comb it works as a liner for mustache and sideburns, but not very good as the dedicated ones we get on other norelco product (I used to use a norelco that has all the interchangeable heads). Good battery capacity too. But it is to be noted that it is a very specific type of beard trimmer and will not satisfy all needs. But anyone considering maintaining a stubble should consider getting this as a beard trimmer in addition to whatever hair groomer already in use.

If you are like me and want to stop paying $15 or $20 per haircut, are okay with wearing a simple one-length crewcut, and also have a short beard of somewhere around the same shortish length, then this tool can make you pretty happy.

I do not like haircutters that have many loose parts, and this one is just one simple unit with the length adjustment intergrated in with a slick length-dialing collar, so that's a big plus with me. The blades, how long they stay sharp, and the battery, how long it holds up, will probably be what determines the long-term satisfaction this unit provides, and I have only had it for a month or two so I cannot say on these. The blades are supposed to be self-sharpening and the battery is currently (sorry, loose pun attack) very peppy and lasts plenty long enough for more than one haircut now.

In order to get the really uniform length that makes for a sharp appearance it does take lots of repetitive passes over the same hair spot, but the batteries are well up to this challenge. Are you? If you are looking for a one or two pass sort of thing, then you need to look at some much more pricey pro equipment, I imagine, (and maybe hiring a barber to use it, too). This thing gets me free from the barber, beard and all, as long as I am willing to run the thing all over my hair about a dozen swipes at minimum over all hair surfaces, including the beard.

Wearing a one-length crew cut and a one-length full beard is the way I have found that best reduces the fuss and cost factors of grooming from the neck up. I make only one exception to this uniformity, and that is that because my mustache is thicker than the rest of my beard I cut only it one click closer than the rest of my beard. After I do this it looks more uniform than if I left it all the same length! Now all I have to do on a daily basis is use a disposable razor to maintain a clear bottom line and top edge-line on my full beard, and that's it for me.

I tried that vacuum trimmer a few years ago and found it to be a not-so-hot gimmick then so I didn't go back there when I bought this new one. I do not think I can find anything that works better for me than this one, at this price point. The length adjustor is trustworthy in design, doesn't threaten to accidentally slip to another setting.

At the end of my beard trim I usually have to take some small pointy scissors and trim a few hairs a little shorter directly under my nose. Tha's the only place where the built-in adjusting guard stops me from using it to cut every hair.

And when I am done giving myself a haircut I take the guard off, call in my wife, and she uses the unit without the guard to cut a clean hairline at the nape of my neck in back where I can't see to do it well enough for myself because I am not coordinated enough to do that reverse-my-hand-motions-because-I-am-looking-in-a mirror thing.

Cleaning the unit: if you are cutting dry hair, the clumps of cut hair usually just fall off into to sink area. Once in a while and when I am all finished with it I take the adjustable guard off and blow the loose hair off with a puff of air from my mouth. The guard slips off and goes back on with zero effort and no accidental length-setting changes.

This thing is nicely thought out and has very good "human-use engineering". I am really satisfied so far. Of course, one day one even better will be built, but this seems to me to be the best one for now.

The name 'stubble' is sort of misleading, because it is more than that. It is just as much a very good "shorter-hair-and-beard trimmer". - Mens Grooming - Beard Trimmer - Groomer - Trimmer'

Thermal Paste - cpu grease, thermal paste

This stuff is like magic. I had been using Radio Shack's 'thermal compound' and when my core i7 was stressed, it could reach over 80deg. I just performed a stress test with the Arctic silver and my CPU barely cracked 50deg. I will be using Arctic Silver on all my PC building projects from now on! Arctic Silver 5 3.5G Polysynthetic Silver Thermal Grease CPU Heat Sink Compound

These are indispensable when building your own computer, or to simply maintain your overheating components later on in life. Take the heatsink off, use some 91% iso alcohol to clean it off, and then apply the AS5 (not the curse word) on, and watch your temps drop a good 5% or so. This tube is probably enough to apply on at least 4~5 heatsinks

Firstly, decided to reseat the zalmann on my old Gigabyte hd3870. In my last microATX case, the gpu was getting up into the low 90's. After removing the old compound with some 91% isopropyl and then applying some AS5 (on a tricky platform) honestly, I didn't see much difference. I realize, though, that the airflow was just terrible and so was the bios of the card witch kept the fan at 0% until 106c. After getting a new In-Win Dragonslayer case (GREAT airflow) and making my own bios (because gigabyte nor ati provide a useful one, thx) the card stays under 75c max settings minus AA in Bad Company 2. Whether this is the result of the AS5 or the combo of airflow + having the fan speed at 30% minimum, I dunno. Also applied some to my new unlocked phenom II x4 B45 and the temps stay under 55 at 3.5 oc (1.37v) and stock cooling. Though, didn't get to compare to the AMD thermal paste, hence the only 4 out of 5. Temps seem to get lower over time but also, nearly october now, it is getting cooler outside.

I was intending to fix my XBOX before Thanksgiving with this item but it took 3 weeks to arrive! I ended up just going to Radio Shack to buy the same item.......save yourself the waiting time and just go buy the Arctic Silver 5 at your local Radio Shack for a couple of bucks more. - Thermal Paste - Cpu Grease - Cpu Cooling - Computer Heatsinks'

Motherboard - i7, cpu processors

I decided to build a computer after a 10 year hiatus.

SPECS:

I chose this motherboard, 4gb (2x2g)Corsair XMS 3 1600mhz ram,the new unlocked Intel i-875K processor cooled by a Corsair Hydro H50. Also went with Ultra X4 750 watt modular Power Supply, Hitachi 1gb 7200rpm Sata HD, Lite-On 24x DVD+RW, the LEXA S Case, and the EVGA GTX480 video card, and Asus XONAR Essence ST Soundcard. I have a 30 inch Dell 3008WFP Monitor, Apple Blue-tooth Wireless Keyboard and Logitech Performance Mouse MX to complete out my build. I am running Windows 7 Professional 64bit 1 user OEM.

INSTALL:

It took me most of a Friday night to get this built. Mostly because the back plate of the Cooler doesn't fit correctly, I had to live with some bow in the back plate to get the 4th screw in. But all and all not too bad. It booted fine the first time. I didn't realize you can't use a Blue-tooth Keyboard at first so I had to grab an older cordless usb Microsoft one to actually set up Windows. The motherboard lined us great with my case and the SATA Cables and many of the other cables were able to route behind the motherboard through rubberized holes in the case. I had no issues installing the motherboard at all, just fine, and well laid out to plug in 4 fans, a water cooler, sata plugs, case front panel wires, power wires, etc. A+++

PERFORMANCE:

I didn't know how to overclock anymore after 10 years. So I read some stuff googling and wasn't sure and instead just used the Intel Desktop Control Panel to experiment. I ended up setting the Ram to 1600mhz and only changing the multiplier to 29x in quad config, 30 in three, and 31 in 2 and single core. I get a score of about 9,000 on CPU Mark. That was all I needed to do, no changing voltages or any of the rest of it. That is what worked best and has run cool and solid ever since.

FEATURES:

The blue-tooth doesn't work for my Apple keyboard, it recognizes it, lets you type in the code but loses connection, so I use a small usb dongle instead. The Video Card sits fine. There is some bling you can turn on in the bios for lights and a blue skull with glowing red eyes. I turned it on high since I have a case window. The real feature is the Intel Control Panel. It shows temps, overclock settings and fan speeds and lets you save profiles. That is a great feature and now that I am done overclocking, I don't use the bios anymore. I also downloaded the latest drivers and firmware from Intel. Paired with the Asus Soundcard (got because of the powerful headphone amp built in) I just use Grado SR-80 and Sennheiser RS140 wireless headphones and a set of Altec Lansing FX6021 speakers.

FINAL IMPRESSION: For me this was a good jump back in to building my own computer. I wasn't satisfied with anything pre-built that I could afford. Building my own let me spend in the areas I valued. The Intel Board was a great choice because it runs well and is very expandable with a second or even third video card and lots of SATA and USB Ports. Get one! Intel DP55KG Extreme Series Desktop Motherboard (P55 ATX Core i7 Core i5 LGA1156)

I bought this motherboard for a high performance system I was building. The instructions were straight forward, clear, big, and colorful. The installation was fairly easy and in about ten minutes, the board was mounted to my NXZT Phantom "white" case.

Here are the specs of the computer:

Intel Core i7 860 Processor

Intel DP55KG Motherboard

Intel SSD X25-V 40GB (operating system drive)

Western Digital 1TB Black Edition Hard Drive (applications drive)

Nvidia GTS 250 GDDR3 1024GB Graphic Card

Lite-On Blu-Ray Optical Drive

LG DVD+-RW Optical Drive

Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR4 10666

OCZ 700 Watt. Power Supply

Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate

With a system build, there are sometimes minor issues to work through. On the whole, I'm very happy with this board. My Intel i5 750 CPU and 8GB Corsair memory installed and fired up without any problem. The LAN driver does need to be installed separately, but that really isn't a big deal...it's on the provided driver disk. I updated the BIOS after loading the operating system (Windows 7 Professional), which fixed the buggy hibernate function. I've added a few extras, such as a card reader, that were accepted without any problems. The system is very stable and has not had any hiccups in two weeks of operation.

I have only had this board running for a few weeks so I can't comment on it's reliability. The board was easy to install in an Antec Sonata case. The construction seems solid. I installed a i5-750 processor , 4 GB of Kingston ram and an ATI Radeon Video Card. The system fired up without a glitch. I loaded a Debian Linux operating system on with two problems. The sound didn't seem to work and the OS couldn't find the network interface. The first problem was solved by turning up the PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) level on the sound mixer. This is just something to remember since it took a while to find. I solved the second problem by putting in an inexpensive above board PCI bussed NIC. The root problem is still unsolved. The operating system just won't find the chip set. Users of Windoz probably won't be bothered by this glitch. The system is really really fast. It's about 15 times faster than my old one. A real pleasure to use. The board will take up to 16 GB of ram has ports to burn, has an advance surround sound audio system, a GB network interface (if you can get it to work). Check the specs for memory and compatible processors with the Intel site before purchase. From some peoples complaints, it's obvious they didn't. Don't forget this is a PCIe buss board not PCI although there are two older PCI connectors on the board.

I'd expect nothing less from Intel. I bought this board for a gaming computer that I was building. So far, my gaming and computing experience has been unbelievable! I play Assassin's Creed, Crysis, Prototype, Spore, Devil May Cry 4, World of Goo, Portal (Steam), Bioshock, and a bunch of others on max settings without any glitches. The board also has temperature monitoring technologies and fail safe features, which is nice to have.

I highly recommend this product to anyone! Keep up the good work Intel! - Motherboard - I7 - Cpu Processors - Intel'

Leather Kindle Cover - kindle accessory, leather kindle cover

Great value for the price. A perfect fit for my Kindle! It's a great supple leather and protects my Kindle well. The picture doesn't do any justice. I was pleasantly surprised to see how nice it looked and the contrast of black and brown. The weave style also makes it more forgiving especially with wear and tear. I just got back from travelling and I really USED this. And it still looks great! OCTOVO Genuine Weave Leather Kindle 2 Cover with Hinge (Fits 6" Display, 2nd Generation Kindle), Black/Brown

Like the other reviewer says, the pictures do not do this cover justice. I am so pleased and surprised at how much I like this cover. This is not a bunch of leather strings woven together and stitched into shape. The black portion of the cover is one piece of leather! It is then die cut and the contrasting brown pieces are woven through the cuts! This takes time and makes the finish quality superb.

It is lighter than I thought it would be and I get many compliments on the design. The cover folds back for easy reading and returns back to a protective cover with ease. It uses the Kindle 2 mounting system which is simple, clean and effective. I love the simple design with no snaps, flaps, zippers or tabs in the way when you are trying to hold it to read. I'm very pleased.

I have to agree, the pics do not do this cover justice! I wanted something classy and I was blown away with this cover. I got the black/brown version and love it. It's thin but feels slightly padded by the woven leather. I think this will help protect the screen. The smell of the leather is divine. Love the hinge attachment and the clever loop at the bottom to keep the kindle attached to the back cover. I would definitely buy this cover again if I needed another. No regrets!

I reviewed all Kindle covers before selecting the Octo Weave leather cover. I am in total agreement with the posted comments. It is beautifully made from woven leather making it durable and attractive. Its' excellent quality completely protects my Kindle. However, the wonderful smell of the leather does seem to attract my cat! I have to make sure it is out of sight when not in use or it might be mistaken for a chew toy!

I'm the very persona of persnickety. Especially when I'm treating myself. This woven leather cover is a tad pricey, and worth every indulgent penny! Unfortunately, I'm a brand spankin' new Kindle customer, and didn't know that I hadn't enough information to understand that this second generation cover wouldn't fit my Kindle with 3G. I LOVE this cover so much, I'm (no kidding) debating whether to return IT, or exchange my Kindle for one that the cover will fit!

I had been browsing for covers for a while before I made the plunge and purchased this case- the 50% off discount price and an additional 20% discount I found online didn't hurt the issue, either. :-) I purchased this cover to replace the m-edge prodigy that I had, and I was not disappointed when this cover arrived. The woven leatherwork is beautiful, and the design is "different" while still looking refined. The leather appears to be of fine quality, and it smells wonderful. The inside lining is a black fabric- once you've had a cover a while and see how dingy the inside can get where you hold it, you will understand that a darker lining is important. The weight of the cover itself adds only minimally to the kindle, and when I fold the cover back for reading, there is only a small amount of cover showing- it's the closest I've come to feeling like a covered kindle was not in a cover while I was reading. Plus, unlike the Amazon or Cole Haan cases (which I debated purchasing), there is the added security of the lower right corner strap. The mounting mechanism has been found in the past to crack kindles, and the corner strap keeps the kindle from swinging between the covers, which appears to be how the cracking happens. The only reason I didn't give the cover 5 stars (I would have liked a 4 1/2 star option!) is because I would have liked a way to keep the cover closed when I'm not reading- perhaps an elastic strap that would not add to the weight of the case. However, adding a strap might ruin the aesthetic of the case. All said, I am very happy with the case, and do not envision having to replace it in the future (when I got my m-edge case, I was planning its replacement after using it for only two weeks, so that is a big endorsement for me to make!). I don't think anyone purchasing this case would be disappointed-- especially with the reduced price now.

This cover feels and looks even better than it appears in the photo. Holds my Kindle securely which makes it much easier to grip and comfortable to hold. Wish it had a light feature, but overall this is a quality piece I would purchase again in a second! - Kindle 3 Covers - Leather Kindle Cover - Kindle - Kindle Accessory'

Iphone 3g Accessories

Well...i just received this case in the mail today and it's better then i expected. it's good quality for the price. it fits my iphone snugly, looks durable, and it didn't pop off when i dropped my phone. but i've only had it for a few hours...soo i guess i'll see if it holds up.

p.s. it arrived 3 days before the expected arrival date XD.

UPDATE 1/14/10:: the case is kind of hard to get off and when i finally managed to get it off, one of the pieces that holds the two sides together broke. i had to crazy-glue it back on and it works just as well as it did before. Black and White Stripes Zebra Skin Animal Design Snap-On Cover Hard Case Cell Phone Protector for Apple iPhone 3G

This is really cute and I loved it when I put it on. It just snapped into place. But if you want to change it periodically, don't get it. The first time I took it off, it broke. I guess you get what you pay for.

I bought this case about a month ago for my IPhone 3G. It fit perfectly and looked really good. But when I wanted to clean my phone, the case wouldn't come off. I had to break the case for it to come off... So it's cute and it protects the phone but plan to keep it on for awhile and be prepared to break it to take it off.

This product is a good product. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the plastic is a bit cheap, but what do you expect? It didn't cost more than $5. I have gotten several compliments on it. Definitely worth the money!

ive gotten tons of compliments on this case. its durable(ive dropped my phone multiple times with it on and ive gotten no scratchs nor has the case broken or opened) and its super cute. i would definitely recommend it to those looking for a fashionable but still durable case'
